Yes
I'm just using a bog standard Logitech mouse. Cost me about £8. You get what you pay for!
I've tried a tablet for my editing and can't get on with it. Too many times I have to revert to the keyboard so it doesn't save time at all. Just a PIA. (Anyone want a hardly used tablet?)
I keep hearing about trackball mouses (mice?) and gaming mice and all sorts of other types of mouse that give good non jerky control of cursors and brushes etc.

I don't play games so the only really intricate stuff I do is Photoshop.

What is the suggestion? What is good? Would prefer wireless because of the configuation of my desk.

I use gaming laser wired mouses on everything.
Never wireless.
Never mess with the settings.
Less buttons the better.
I like Razer brand too.

Thanks guys.
Those gaming mouses look seriously scary!

Just one question if I may.
How long is the cable on these things? The specs I've looked at don't mention that but I need a minimum of 1.50 metres and preferably a bit more.

Think I can manage without changing colours!!
Many thanks for your help and advice.

Thanks. I got one of the Deathadders that Neil sugested.
Arrived today and is now working. What a difference from my old thing.
This too has a dpi button and I'm experimenting to see which setting is best for my ham fistedness!

Try the mouse on your tablet just out of interest. It might be something that suits you.

How about a RAT 9 wireless mouse. Comes with a precision button by the thumb to slow the cursor down. Targeted at gamers but has custom buttons and a great DPI range...
