Hi, I need a new bag as Tamrac Exp5 seems to be getting smaller;)
I have 1Ds mk ii, 350D 70-200,17-40, 28-135, 50, macro tubes, filters, spare batteries,compass and the list goes on, at the moment find it hard to actually close the bag so a little bigger would do.
Anyone used Tamrac Evolution 8 or can recomend a slightly larger bag.

Go for a Lowe Pro. Good bags for the price.

If you're unsure which one to get, take all your gear in to a shop and try it out. I did that in Jacobs in Manchester and they had no problem with me doing it.
 
A lot of it depends on the type of bag your after, rucksack, sling etc. Theres loads out there, Lowepro, Think Tank, Tamrac to name a few, along with some unbranded ones which some people swear by, myself included as I have a backpack from Amazon and its fantastic, only cost £30!
 
Thanks for the replies. Would have liked to have tried out a few but we don't have camera shops on the island as there are in the UK that was my reason for posting the question.

I got a Crumpler Daily 490 L recently for £44.99 delivered from a company in the UK called thehobbywarehouse.co.uk but they look as if they have now sold out/discontinued selling it unfortunately. Really good bag well pleased with it. Fits 2 bodies, 4 lenses, a 15" laptop and all the gubbins, and I still have loads of storage left after putting all my kit in it. It is an over the shoulder bag but has the option of becoming a sling type bag with crumpler's 3rd leg, strap for extera stability.

Crumpler even give it a 30 year warranty!
