need a bag for a bike trip

I have a flip side 300 at the moment which houses all my important gear but I am off round europe on the bike in the summer and taking the camera with me.
Doing a weekend in UK this weekend and just tried to put my camera with 17-55 attached and my 100-400 lens in my smaller bag and it does not fit.
camera is a 50d with a 17-55 on the front of it.

So I am looking for a bag that will carry the camera and the lens,my 100-400, charger, spare battery and a couple of other bits and bobs.

Any recomendations

What bike and what luggage? Or do you want a backpack?

I have a large givi top box and can firmly lowering mini trekker in, but depends on how 'light' you pack

Sorry blumin auto correct, I meant can fit in a lowepro not firmly lowering!

Its a BMW R1200GSA with metsl luggage.
I can fit the 300 flipside in the side pannier but it leaves me no room for luggage, the mrs has the other pannier for clothes and the topbox will be used for, well womans rubbish, you know what I mean ha ha!!!.

So looking for a smaller bag that would take the camera + Lens's into the pannier with enough room for me to have some clothes, ( I will be taking some room in the top box but do not tell the mrs ha ha!!!)

The trecker looks same as my 300 flipside just a different design so too big

mmm another option would be a tank bag? I think the BMW one has internal dividers that look suitable for camera equipment.

Apart from that you could get a simple case that would take you body and a kit lens and find a generic lens case that you could pack into a pannier?

I have the tank bag for the bike but no deviders in there, you could be onto something with a simple bag for the camera and I have the pouch for the 100-400. That could go in the bag with my cloths for extra protection aswell. mmmmm you are deffinatley onto something there, going to go look for a small bag just for the camera and lens now, oh by the way the lens is alot biggert than the kit lens as this is the canon 17-55 f2.8.

ah sorry didn't realise I am a Nikon man so didn't recognise the lens! do you have a pouch for the 17-55?
 
No pouch for the 17-55 lens.
I am sure I will get a bag for just camera + 17-55 and the 100-400 in the pouch,

Well I have managed to get my self a bag for the trip, I was looking at this but ittoo small so in the end I had a look and found this little beautyhere and it looks like it will take my gripped 50D with 17-55 attached and my 100-400 plus a few other bits and bobs, it will fit in the pannier and still loads of room for clothes.
