Do the neoprene neckstraps make as much difference as they claim to? I have a dodgey neck at times and the strap provided with the camera does not do it much good, I was wondering if a padded one would help? When possible I will use a tripod, but if I'm off on one of my x-c walks its a bit heavy after a while.

Yes they are brilliant. No cutting in and they sort of bounce the weight...(which us ladies are used to!! ;) ) :D:lol:

See if there are any TPF ones left.

I love my Optech one from TP to bits! Miles more comfortable than the Canon-supplied one.

They're much better than the standard straps , more comfortable , less movement and they are carbon neutral*

* I may have made that bit up

Don't get strappy with me Janice :D

They "support" your camera very well :D:lol:

Right, I will follow the link and get one.

Janice, my camera may be a 40D but I'm nowhere near that :'(

I don't think he heard you:lol:

I have a Lowepro neckstrap, its great as it has quick release fastening and spreads the weight nicely. it also has a handy card pocket on the strap.
