My old monitor is coming towards the end of its life and I am looking at buying a NEC MultiSync PA271W LCD 27 inch Monitor, £899. Before I go ahead are there any other monitors that I should consider in this range.

The Dell U27's. tftcentral has reviews of both I think....
 
Hi, I have the NEC PA 231W and love it. Along with the Spectraview II software it works very well IMO.

Thank you both for the replies. I have looked at the Dell range but there seems to be a couple of issues with light bleed and screen uniformity which they have not solved yet, so am still thinking of the NEC.
 
I have a HAZRO HZ27WC Monitor and it is very good. Great value too.
 
John you won't go wrong with the PA nec series and as another poster has pointed out, trying to source spectravierw software will makle calibration a breeze.

It should work as I have had spectraview working with a non SV model , notably the 2690wuxi, I see the PA series being no different .
