Alright guys,
Ive been shooting film for a while now with the help from my friend and his lovely staff discount at jessops and also the dark room at college. However, he doesnt work there anymore and ive finished college, so... I want to carry on shooting films without spending the ridiculous amount on developing at shops.
Im thinking of investing in a negative scanner preferably for both 35mm and 120. Anyone know of any that are not too expensive?
Thanks in advance and happy new year!

erm for 35mm colour negs I think Tesco only charge 99p for dev, Asda charge £2 and will put your shots onto a CD with index card for another £1.
I've an old Epson 2480 scanner (35mm only) in the garage unused for a couple of years and you can have it for nothing and if you live in NW or W London will drop it off for free, but it's only worth it if you can get a free power supply as I'm using it for my backup Epson 4180 (which I got from a boot sale for £3)......also I have scanned 100s negs (with the 2480) plus what the previous owner did, so I can't guarantee it will give a perfect scan, but it seemed alright last time I used it. But if you can get a power supply free or even just £3 max then it's worth playing with it for experience.
I'm in a mood for a clear out so if no one wants it, then it's in the bin.
