Week 1 Angles and Lines
Here we go again. Held off posting hoping something more inspiring would turn up. A few alternatives below.

It doesnt get any more angular than that Nick. Yellow and blue is always a winner.

I prefer No3 for the theme.

Heh, seems I'm not alone thinking that #3 would have been the shot I would have choosen for the theme.
Nowt wrong with the first shot, but I just feel the 3rd has more immediate impact.

I'm in a minority again in preferring the cranes with the sunlight on them making the interest as well as their juxtaposition. For me, the 3rd shot either need more sunlight or none at all

The blue and yellow work well against each other for me.

Week 2 Rust and decay
Another end of week and no photo. Remembered this iron cannonball which has been rusting away in a corner the garden for years. It came with the house 30 years ago. Previous owners used it as a door stop I think. No idea of its history.

Love the natural lifecycle on this one with the decaying leaves. I actually thought this was a decaying turnip or similar when I saw it om the main thread!

Without reading it I would also have assumed some plant / vegetation rotting away.

I thougth Suede / potato too. Cool to have a canon ball.
You'll have to dig up one of the bollards in London (as many of them are actually canons) so you can fire it.

We've got one of these on the Mid Hants now.
I suspect this was going a bit faster than 25mph though, so nicely panned.

A GP14 if I'm not mistaken (somewhat bastardized). I sailed one of those about 50 years ago.

It certainly fits the theme very well.
