weekly NCF15 52 for 2025 Week 52 New

The panning shot is excellent Nick, for sure the best of the two.

Boxes the tick :)

Nice colours. I think if you'd zoomed in more (assuming your exif is right on flicker you were at 200mm on a 400mm lens) and really picked out the two towers it may have been a bit better. All imho.

Week 45 Choice
Came across this cat sitting on a fence during a dog walk. Fortunately the dog didn't see it, although the cat looks like it would have most dogs for breakfast.

Fab kitty shot :)

Nice shot, only thing that would make it better would if it was of a dog... :D

Nice cat shot, background looks good as well
Those eyes are a bit scary, they have the look of what shall I kill today

Cats have an inbuilt "scary" face that they can just produce at will ...........

Great shots Nick, I would have been torn between your chosen one and the second shot.

Week 47 Keys
Took the easy no inspiration option

Level unlocked :)

The Travelodge is a great piece of architecture.

It took me a couple of days to get the inspiration for “keys”, so feel your pain !

The feathers work well, and perhaps a tighter crop would make it even more abstract,
Can't beat sunlight on leaves.....

Your chosen image is certainly a striking piece of architecture. Works well for the theme.

Great high contrast images Nick. I like them all and would have had a hard time choosing one of them.

Nice shots Nick. First one striking, but I like the second also. Some great history behind the 3rd shot too.

Week 50 Past
A railway underpass first constructed in 1840 for the Taff Vale Railway by Brunel. Extended multiple times as the number of lines needed to transport the coal from the valleys to the docks increased. A degree of HDR effect used to even out the outside and inside exposures.

Week 51 reflections
Short of time this week so have to make do with this Bauble reflection (one of many I suspect this week) outside front door.

Good tunnel, and the extension brickwork contrast makes it so much more interesting

Two really strong images Nick, The underpass turned out really well and the delivery guy at the end of the tunnel just makes the image complete.

Nice one Allan. The little wave makes it :)
