Week 20 Light and dark
Pignut flower and seed heads against a shady background. An often overlooked dwarf umbellifer which have isolated flowerheads emerging before the leaves. They are supposed to have an edible tuber hence the name.

Week 22 Vertical + B/W Tech
Noticed this pretty vertical heron sitting in the top of next doors pine tree.

Really like both shots Nick. Your image shot is really well composed and the DOF is excellent. Great eye to catch the heron, works well as a b&w image.

Week 23 Bark
A natural edged walnut bowl. These can be tricky to make but if turned with the wood fresh the bark stays on better and it's easier to get a thin wall rather than the usual way of turning a bowl which is to dry the wood out before finishing the shape.

When you are on a small island for a week with just about a single street opportunities are a bit limited.
