nativity ban

This is what happens in society when you let pinko, leftie tree huggers have a say. PC gone all to cock. Thing is, not enough people stand against s**t like this. Makes my blood boil.

Exactly... if you are part of the ridiculous minority of people who apparently object to photos being taken at childrens' Christmas (and other) concerts, then don't expect your child to appear. within it.

Sorted.

Damn this pathetic 'minority rule' - it's manifest everywhere in our society now.

My previous post sums up what I think about schools refusing to let parents take photos of their own kids but.......

People do also have the right to say they don't want their kids to be photographed, so it does work both ways.

What's important is that schools put measures/rules/whatever in place so that everyone can enjoy the event. Its not that difficult to ask parents who want to take photos to stand to one side of the main seating area so they don't block the view of others during the event. Its not difficult to let parents know via the school newsletter that photography will be allowed at events and if they don't want their children to be photographed then they can let the school know so the kid can be given a behind-the-scenes role.

It just takes a bit of give and take on both sides, even if some people are part of the 'ridiculous minority', as you put it.
