That does seem like a good deal :) Shame they are so anal about photos taken at their sites :(

Don't be pressured into buying this because its an offer... they runn this offer all year round when paying on direct debit (I used to work in the membership dept overlooking the staff and systems).

There understanding is that on average a direct debit customer will average a 13 year period with them... hence they ask you to sign up with direct debit.

The national trust offers some amazing places, but yes - as jimmy_lemon said they are a little fussy with pictures (inside properties and resales...)

To clarify also, as far as I am aware the national trust does not have any affiliation with quidco and when we had queries about memberships signed up via this route we had to advise that all problems had to be raised with quidco in regards to the money returned by them.

NT is listed on both quidco and topcashback as participating click through "merchant" with 30% cb.
However cash back pay out is never guaranteed with any merchant but if you don't ask!

I got me Mam membership to the National Trust for her birthday last year; did it through Quidco and got £15 back pretty promptly

I was in one of there castles last week on Holy Island and was told I could take photos inside as long as I didn't use flash.

Not sure if the flash restriction is that you don't spoil other visitors pleasure or the effect flash light has on painting, wall hangings etc.

I would imagine it is more for the other visitor's pleasure :)

Was in Speke Hall recently and they had a blanket ban on photography, flash or no flash. It was a shame, as there were some great opportunities, but I can see the reasons for the decision. Offer seems good, even if it does run all year round!

Off for a closer look :D

I signed up for this two months ago and I am still waiting for my pack :( I email/ring every fortnight and they send 'another' pack...not sure where to

I just showed my wife this offer and she then tells me because she works for John Lewis we get free entry into all NT buildings.

Nice of her to mention it :bang:

yes john lewis holds corporate membership, your wife just has to see the social secretary for a pass,or if you happen to holiday at one of their places they will issue with a pass, nice for free
