National Geographic Photo 2012

Cheers for the link, just had a quick look and I guess it shows how opinions differ, there's a few great shots but a lot do nothing for me, like the Eiffel tower shot looks like its been taken on a poor quality camera phone! Will be interesting to know what others think.
 
I was disappointed with the winning shots. There were some absolutely stunning images submitted by some pretty amazing photographers, but the winning images do nothing for me... I guess I just don't see what some others do... I guess that's why I do t go to art gallery's much anymore ;)

Still, was chuffed to have been short listed again :)

I know what you mean mate, I loved the wildlife ones, wasn't too keen on the winning image in the people's categories, there was at least 2-3 stronger images in week 3 shortlist (forgetting mine because I'm biased :-D ) but the winning ones from last year weren't the best in my opinion either, but again that's why I aren't judging it!
