Like (:D), i know i'm starting to get on a bit in age, but do i need help? Reason i ask is I've just listened to Rolf Harris singing Stairway to Heaven and enjoyed it :thinking:. Led Zeppelin it isn't, but catchy it sure is!

Have I finally lost it? :lol:

Isn't there a "club" somewhere that all the artists that perform there
have to include stairway to heaven in their repertoire?

Ps I heard the Rolf Harris version some while back and it did amuse me also
 
Ok guys as you will see from my signature I am a fan of the great band and as the original is one of rocks great classics

Ooh... I see an opportunity starting here eh Chris? A mission for everyone to post every cover version of "stairway to heaven" they have heard or know of... ;)

And if you don't have an alternative cover version then feel free to list who you'd like to rerecord it and why :lol:

Personally I have nothing against cover versions. Although admittedly sometimes they can be pretty awful.

IMO a decent cover ensures that the song lives on, long after the singer :)

I agree with Nilagin, the Far Corporation did a pretty decent version of Stairway to Heaven. Rolf Harris though? :nono: :gag: :nuts: :help:

If I'm completely honest, I've never really liked the song, and I'm a HUGE Led Zep fan!

I think it's the most boring song they made (apart from the last verse) :(
