Naked Wines

Very good, actually. Good service, helpful, good prices, and you get some interesting wines from small producers.

I got a recommendation, never followed it up, I think Majestic bought them fairly recently.

Been using the for a number of years. Great customer service. If you do get a wine you don't like, they do credit your account. I only used this once when I bought 6x bottles of £20 wine and disliked the first, decanted and let breathe the second and that too was not to my liking.

The wines they have are normally from smaller producers and with some great marketing spiel it appears they are doing to a deal.

Overall the marketing is a lot better than had older milk order, online wine places. But they do have good wine for various budgets and with a great returns policy.

I've had over 200 bottles from them and only once had any I dislike enough to tell them. Once a delivery didn't arrive on the day and I was credited £20 to my account.

You will get an email regularly from them and Rowan will offer you great deals....

Great thanks all who replied, I used a £60 voucher someone gave me then had buyers remorse!
Feel better after your replies!

Yep been with them for a few years now (i'm an Angel!) The are part of Majestic now but still hold the same principles of using and investing in smaller growers. used to use Virgin and Laithwaites but miles happier with Naked

I've found them hit and miss to be honest, wines ok but ultimately I cancelled the subscription as they keep pestering you trying to upsell things (masquerading as "your personal wine advisor") which ultimately got annoying.

Nowadays I mainly use the Wine Society, Aldi (who's wines are generally great and they do some really good left field offerings in their wine events) and Costco who do a fantastic Malbec for only £6.50 (easily as good as a £10 supermarket Malbec).

That's why I left Laithwaites- I get an email a week from Naked which I think is fine. Even that is only telling me if I want my free bottle this month I need to order. I generally order a case every 2/3 months.

I've been using them for three or four years, am yet to have a bad bottle, nor even one that's "just OK". Almost all have been very good and more than a few excellent. I haven't bought a supermarket win in ages, but when a friend came to stay she picked up a couple of bottles from Tesco as she was feeling guilty about drinking all of mine and the quality difference was immediately noticeable.

They do send a fair bit of marketing email, perhaps one a week, and I did once get a marketing call from a "wine advisor".

Scrolling down the page I read the subject as "Naked Wives" :naughty:

I have found the wine to be OK.
I used a voucher a couple of years ago and automatically got put on the Angels waiting list, it took a few emails to get removed, I also got a lot of promotional emails. I used another voucher recently and no mention of going on the Angels waiting list but I did get a couple of emails so I just added them to the spam list.
I have now received another £60 voucher as they are confused because I never bought any more wine and thay would like me to!
Just ordered another 12 bottles, £5 off each bottle cannot be bad.
