Hey all Photography heads, I just signed up and am intrigued as to what I can learn from you all...
I am an avid film fan looking to improve my direction of photography...I have just recieved a starter camera, canon 400d eos
Currently, I only have a kit lens and am looking into buying a versatile lens but not sure where to start... does any one have any advice for me?
 
Well tbh I like landscapes and cutlural pics but im more into learning the techniques and how to make something that looks crap into good...
Im willing to spend like 300-500quid on a really good lens..since im living in Korea there is a lot of photo opportunites, Landscapes, nature.. all that marlark
tbh im not really sure
 
The Tamron AF 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 Di-II got a fantastic review from PhotoPlus magazine this month. Should cover most of your needs and is only £300 approx.

Don't get the 18-200mm .... The review was pants .. :D

just doing some basic photography course at the mo to see if thatll help me, im still trying to figure out all the figures and what they mean
