I was walking around my local country park today and bumped into a wildlife photographer with the biggest lens i have ever seen.
He was a friendly chap and let me have a look through his Canon EOS-1D to show me a buzzard he was shooting.
I could not see the buzzard with a naked eye and when i enquired about the lens the gentleman said it was 1000mm.
Just out of curiosity i tried to look the lens up tonight but can't seem to find a Canon 1000mm L listed anywhere
It was in the 'L' colours and looked like the Canon EF 800mm f_5.6 L IS USM, only bigger.
Sorry i should have taken a photo but does anybody know what this lens could be?
