well Ive just taken the plunge and upgraded my Nikon d3000 to a shiny new, d300s, Nikor wide angle (Nikon 20mm f2.8 D AF Lens) for the £200 cashback, battery holder and new battery for it

I have now got to justify to the wife why I did it and then work a shed load of overtime to pay it off quickly, still thats life, Ill keep you posted :help::bonk::help:
 
With any luck she may not notice it is different!! If she says she thought this is a bigger camera say 'no, it hasnt grown'!! I have managed to buy a lens and claim I have had it a while. Having said that, after talking of getting a D700, she accused me of upgrading as my camera now had a red flash on the grip that was not there before. :shrug:
 
Use Women's logic, tell her you didn't really intend changing but it was such a brgain you just had too..... ;-)
 
Treat her to a new pair of shoes / handbag / make-up / jewellery (delete as appropriate) and everyone's a winner :D

Some women do actually wish they had a boyfriend/husband that would buy such kit you know, me included!!!!! then i could nick it and use it myself! ;-) lol
