OK this is my take on your site, you can completely ignore it if you don't agree.
I think it's sending too many mixed messages. It seems that baby photography is what you want to promote as the first thing you say on the home page is you offer professional baby portraits. But the slideshow on that page is a bit of everything. You go on to say more about babies and toddlers but the next sentence is about gig photography and that's another service you offer. On the first page it talks about services offered like weddings, portraits, events, pets etc. Then when you click the services link in the menu there is portraits and events. Weddings is rolled into the events with gigs, parties and christenings all for the same package. If you are interested in gig photography you will need to speak to someone who specialises in this area to find out how to break into it I think, but it's a very difficult area to establish yourself in as a paid photographer.
I think you should pick one genre and put up a separate site for your gig photography. I understand you might not want to turn any work away if you're not booked up with portrait sessions, but I think having all the other stuff there will actually reduce the effectiveness of the site for your target market. The market is saturated with photographers now more than ever, but that means its even more important that when someone wants a photographer for a particular job, you look like that is your specialty, your niche, the go to photographer for that particular job. So like I said that means either actually focusing on one thing, or having separate sites to give the right impression to your clients.
One other thing, I think the about me page should have a photo of you if you want to do family photography, it kind of looks like the baby is the photographer
Anyway good luck, I hope what i've said gives you something to think about as far as targeting your market goes.
