I've never done a long train ride but I have done a lot of trips in my cars. I've been to pretty much every country in Europe and some beyond.

I wanna travel alone, that way i wont have to compromise. and i was thinking about sleeping on the trains and spending a day in each place.

I've never done a long train ride but I have done a lot of trips in my cars. I've been to pretty much every country in Europe and some beyond.

ah ok cool do you do something to do with this sort of thing?
well you see atm i cant drive, and i dont know if i would want to rely on a car (and my sense of direction!) i really want to go everywhere and see everything, this year i'm doing alot of travelling in the UK, to see whats on my doorstep!

No, I don't do trips for a living or anything I just enjoy driving to really random places. Next year I'm hoping to drive out to Jordan via Syria or I might drive down the West coast of Africa into Dakar or something stupid.

You'll find the further afield you go the cheap things become, even places like Poland there is a hotel in Krakow that works out to about £8 a night and that includes breakfast.
The forgein train network is very good or so I am led to believe from a friend who did a trip last year, I experience of trains is the crappy Southern Service and the EuroStar but that's it.

I know what you mean not wanting to rely on your car but that's the fun bit for me, I like getting up in the mornings and then realising over breakfast that I have no idea where I will be that night, usually I won't even know what country I'm in.
