What is it about some jobs which you should just never have started?

I recently had to frame a print for a customer. Routine, no problem you say?

Well here is the story:

1) I sent the wrong file version to my printer and didn't notice until I received the print;
2) My printer had run out of my favourite paper;
3) When the replacement print (from the correct file) arrived, it was damaged;
4) My frame supplier had run out of the size and type the customer wanted;
5) I broke the glass from the frame when framing the print;
6) The glass supplier cut the replacement glass to the wrong size;
7) After cutting the mount, I discovered a mucky mark on the white card;
8) Finally finished the job after three attempts to remove odd bits of fluff and hairs which were mysteriously invisible until I had taped up the frame.

:bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang:

That ******* job has cost me a fortune in glass, diesel and time. :thumbs:

On the plus side, the customer is well chuffed. :)

Thats the important bit.

Don't take it personally, but it's good to know that **** happens to other people too.

I know it must happen to everyone at some stage. But why is it that once a c**k up happens, it is swiftly followed by more?

In my case it's usually a self fulfilling prophesy, once I believe bad stuff will happen
