As I have started to take more photos of our rescue dog Susie, I have decided to put my photos of her here as and when I take and edit them. Photos will be taken with either the X-T2/X-T20, as I really am loving taking photos of her. They will be a mixture of both colour and b&w.

PLEASE NO EDITING ON THESE SHOTS OF SUSIE, AS I WANT TO LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES :)

Hi Dave, some nice shots. I too have been trying to capture 'our wee dog' with mixed success :(. Third one up from here is my favourite so far. On the 1st & 2nd up you have the nose/eyes in focus but the ears out which is something my eyes are drawn to. Need to up the aperture a bit more but very expressive!

Thank you Garry, will try and remember to get it on f8 next time :)

Hi Dave.....another compelling image :)
Would love to see the brightness turned up a bit.....make the whites less grey and help add a bit of depth/contrast......at least on my monitor ;)

Thank you Garry, I made a mistake and dropped the highlights far too much :)

Good on you for rescuing a JRT. Ours is a rescue Jack also. Not managed to get such good shots of Mistletoe though as she won’t keep still.

Thank you Stephen, Susie was cute when we went to the RSPCA as all we could see was a head popping up and down. So we went over to the cage and how she just sat down and looked at us to say, Hi take me home. So we did and that was 5 years ago now and I love her to bits as I call her my little girl :)

Great series so far. Are you going to do some outdoor ones too? She's a beauty, by he way.

I came into this because I have a Suzie - but she’s not a dog she’s my wife [emoji23]

Love the original studio style photos - get them hung!

Thank you Iain, most of the images have been printed off and framed, as gave some to my Mum too.
