Definitely overdoing it taking your own bench to the park :) but that looks a pretty reasonable amount to take for a walk round the park. If you'd got an extra couple of arms you could of left the wife and kids at home and really enjoyed yourself ;)
 
What?! No compact- are you out of your mind? That is clearly not enough kit- you may well miss some shots. Your wife is not thinking logically. Oh hang on- wives logic...mmm:p;)

I was assuming the obligatory smartphone, life cannot be lived without one- surely?:p - but you could be right, OP needs to come clean:D

I don't have one (but perhaps I don't have much of a life!).

I like to leave the house without the means for someone to get in contact with me so my only phone plugs into a socket on the wall.

Lets say it's a different perspective:)- but wow:runaway::p- But seriously, I can see where you are coming from- my brothers mobile phone is very mobile- but it's never on- for him to use, not for other people to contact him:rolleyes:
 
Just to clarify, I did have an iPhone about my person!
 
No! By the looks of it there's still quite a bit of wasted space on the bench, plenty room for a couple of tripods and a camera slider for timelapses:banana:
 
That grass looks a tad dry and sparse. Are you sure this is a recent photo?
 
If your silly wife reckons that's too much, ask your sensible wife's opinion...
 
I could always take some of the equipment off you so the wife doesn't moan at you!
 
I cant see a cleaning kit either - you need to rethink...all that would fit into a bag....wimin :rolleyes:
 
Personally I'm with your wife ..... but enough about my private life :p

but actually I do agree with her ... take one body and one lens, use it , take great pictures - enjoy. Take every item of kit you own , spend most of the time faffing about with it miss lots of picture opportunities , have a row go home grumpy
