My ring has disappeared. Anyone know where it has gone?

When I'm using a brush in CS5 I used to have a ring showing the size of brush; this was in brushes or clone tool or other adjustments. I could increase or decrease the size of the brush by using the square brackets, and increase/decrease the hardness by using shift + square brackets. Most useful in that I could see the area that I was going to amend.

Now for some reason the circle has disappeared. Using the square brackets still seems to affect the area to be worked, but I have no prior knowledge of how big that area will be.

I must have clicked something that makes the display circle be hidden, but I don't know what. Can anyone help me find it again?

caps lock :)

you're welcome - you;re not the first... and you won;t be the last

The amount of times that still gets me and I still think "Oh crap, thats right" :D

I'm ham handed, especially when typing so I've physically removed the caps lock key from my desktop keyboard. Taped it to the top and can still operate the switch using a paperclip through the tape that covers the hole where the key's supposed to be but TBH, I never bother - if I want to shout, I hold the shift key down instead!

If you go into disability options you can make it beep if you touch it, which helps.

Correct, I never knew that either. I kept re-booting my PC when my ring went. Numpty:rolleyes:

Ahhh I thought the word disable caps shut off caps completly. I stand corrected.
