Well done Dave. I've never even thought about trying to get any of my canal pictures published, but as they are all crap anyway I guess it's a moot point.

I know you were joking, but Big Issue commission photographers for their covers and features :) I've assisted on quite a few bits for them.
 
I trust they have paid you obscene amounts of money, and you are now considering your position regarding UK tax avoidance :D

They contacted me Matt, they found it on flickr, I was really pleased I saved the original full size file as I took that shot on December 2, 2008. so goes to show keep all all your files backed up, :thumbs: bonus is getting a good price for it :thumbs:

I framed my first magazine front page...for the office .... Its a massive thing really.. so why not :)

My first ever cover, in a big set that I'd sent them, there was one dull picture that the focus was *ever so slightly* missed. I only put it in because it would have been fine run small inside. There were about 20 more exciting shots, with room for copy, that I expected them to pick one of to use for cover.

Guess which they picked....
