It was built for fast silent computing and the cooling during 95% of use is passive. certainly for such things as lightroom and the like its totally silent as teh water loop holds so much water it rarely heats up to fan activation point and when it does so, they are only running at around 500rpm so perfectly silent at my distance away.

During heavy fgaming sessions the fans come on, but the difference between on and off is barely perceptible ina quiet room, and certainly not even noticeable when gaming. The rig works well, and it benches incredibly well, keeping me in the UK top 10 on HWBot for the last 12 months even without benching since January this year.

And a sneaky nightime frag fest shot... ;)

Well it certainly looks spectacular you have done a great job.
I have a question ,with all that RAM and CPU power do you need the SSD scratch disc for photography?
I ask because I am thinking about an SSD but according to Adobe it will not make a lot of difference to Photoshop on my system other than at program start up.
If its needed for gaming then treat me as thick and stupid!

Hi mate,
No, its worthless for photo processing if you have enough RAM, but my main underwater interest is video, and some of my renders are 40+GB and thus a scratch disk is used a lot by Adobe Premier.

Nice... except for the Radeon graphics cards... :D I have had nothing but trouble with Radeons (I don't game and run a triple headed Nvidia card)

I suspect user error ;)
 LOL.. No... definitely driver/graphics card issues (occasional flick on HDMI, screensaver occasionally crashing, inability to use any decent screengrab program to name but a few issues - all this in triple headed mode that the GT640 handles fine) ;)

Any chance of a photo taken in the daytime so I can see your external rad properly? Cheers.

No problem. An early pic, but same rad.

I preordered the XboxOne a while ago. Now a mate has said he's going to cancel his preorder. And now I have no idea what to do between cancelling my XboxOne and getting a gaming/image processing computer instead.

My mind is going Crazeeeee!!!!

....and cheaper than a apple computer :D

So jelious T500RS :naughty:
