My new website

Nice site Niki and some good photography work there. You should be very pleased with the result.

I know I sound like an old man saying this, but It is so good to see someone of your age who has already done so many things to get their career on track.

Only a few comments:

1. The body text, which is most evident on the About page doesn't in my opinion go well with your website's colour scheme. Also, light text on a light background is never a good idea, as it affects readability. Have a look at https://kuler.adobe.com to find the best shades and colours that go well together.

2. This is only a personal preference, but something is telling me that writing in the first person would work better on your website. I might be wrong, but it was the first thing that stuck out to me.

3. Add a "how did you hear about me" field or drop down on your contact page and consider removing your email address (attracts the spammers).

That's about it.

Works well on an iPad by the way!

Thanks for the reply!
First of all thanks for pointing out the blue text as I totally forgot to change it as I had a blue theme before I changed it all yesterday! The Adobe program is a huge help!

I was thinking the same about my writing on the homepage so I changed it and it reads much better.

I have put a "how did you hear about me" box on my contact page but il leave my email for now as I have never had problems with it- Touch wood!! :)

Just need to sort my mobile version out now haha. Glad it works well on Ipad as I get quite alot of visitors using tablets.
Thanks!

Hi Niki. Nice start. I feel the google font is a bit juvenile, but its quirky. I definitely recommend NOT using Comic Sans font. Take it from me, its more than possible to get bucket loads of spam having your email in plain text in the coding. There are free methods of encoding. Google 'email encode' to find a few simple options.
