My new website

Dazz, nice website! :) I know how long it takes to get a site online, all the resizing of images etc.

I've recently put mine online, thought would have a go at coding mine from scratch. Still need to do some amendments www.TheViewFinderPhotography.co.uk

Nice work there. I used Wordpress for mine. Fairly easy to use, loads of support for it and quick and easy to update.

Might look at coding one from scratch in the future but for now I think this one does the trick. Took a little planning for how I wanted it to look but actually putting it together took me the best part of a day. Then its just down to updating and tweaking.

I like the feel of the site and the general look. The only thing I don't like is the way any portrait pictures have the top and bottom cut off in the thumbnails. Only a minor thing.
 
Thanks slinkery. I must say thats the one thing that bugs me too. I have tried having a play around with it and did set it up so that the portrait ones show in full but it just didnt sit right and looked even worse than it does now so changed it back.

At some point I will look at re-coding that section and seeing what I can do with it.
 
I like the general look too.
Album titles in black on the dark background aren't easy to read though, even with the white shadow!
