Edit My Images
No
I have just launched my new website this week which is for my new business delivering photography courses around the uk.

I built the whole thing from scratch and am wanting peoples thoughts not just on the design but content, navigation and ease of use. Is always good the get a fresh set of eyes on it.

Photography Courses UK

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Nicely set out but one thing strikes me more than anything..............

It is not personal, no names of tutors or owner of the site?

If I were to embark on such a course I would like to know a little more about who you are.

Yes this is just a part of the website I am woking on. Each tutor will have his/ her own section which will have a photograph of them, biography and a gallery of images they have taken.

I think it look OK.
Doesn't grab me as being especially different in layout and looks like its based on a design template IMO.
Would be great to feature some great images taken by student on home page or "60 second interview" with attendees.

Few things bug me with the punctuation and grammar. Maybe because of this, it doesn't seem completely 'professional' to me, and i'd be slightly wary of the site if I stumbled across it.

I think the shopping cart does not need to be visible on every page or at least not so 'in your face' on the front page. Capitalising words in the middle of sentences on your courses page looks strange (Compact Digital Camera for instance) especially since you don't carry it through in all course descriptions. I know you're trying to emphasize them but they don't really need it. I'm not sure the big black banner works when the rest of the site is predominantly blue and white, I'd maybe make it the same blue and lose the header above it. Try and make the site a bit more personal if you can, it looks like any standard business clone website in it's layout atmo.

The Facebook "Become a Fan" doesn't fit properly in the box on the lower right hand side.

Also, the top bar goes partly transparent which looks a bit strange.

Thanks for all the comments is really good to get a second opinion and you have brought up some points that I will have to take a look at.

GREAT IDEA!
