My new website. C&C.

Hello,

I finally set up a website. I have used wordpress becuase you can get nice looking templates & easy plugins.

This is the first decent one i have set up, and hopefully the one i keep going.... I know there are some spellling mistakes, i do do google spell checks but sometimes it doesn't do it all (im dyslexic, i spell pheneticly(?))

I've only got one album on there but i tried to make it look as good as possible, im going through my other stuff to see if there is anything worth posting up.


What do you think of it??

There is some text 'port something' which is partially hidden in amongst the grey at the top.

I agree but am using Firefox and winXP pro.

What is the magnifying/search icon for, above the menu bar - doesn't seem to do anything.

abit or a bit

cheeter or cheetah

typicly or typically

gallerys or gallery's or galleries

Also watch the use of capitals in your sentences.

Really? okay i'll look into that! i've not seen the port error message but ill deffently contact my host.

Okay, deffently look into it if its failing on both osx and windows.

If you click on the icon then it should pop out a little search bar bby it? or doesnt that work?

Thank's for that! ill change them!.. i did run it through spell check but i guess i misssed them. My grammer/spelling isn't that great becuase im dyslexic not saying it as an excuse, i've got all the proof! lol. which is why i asked about the spelling. ill get them sorted now.

Yeah it is. I thought it would make me look 'cool' & 'hip' as im only 19, but bringing it makes me look like a noob?

c) look what I can do - do you want to hire me?

Thank you for explaining what you ment, i will take a look.. and i will try and fix it.

Any ideas on how i can improve it?.

It's for picture sharing, possibly? So OP can share with friends from other parts of the country and/or globe.

Yup, that's exactly that. I couldn't explain it better. It's just so friends and family can see the pictures.


Reason why i posted this thread was just to get feedback of the website. 99.9% of it has been very usefull and helpful!

a) That's there, i just need to make the site more welcoming i think.
b) I dont want to sell my images. Far from it.
c) Look at what i can do, you can see that but i think i will make it easer for the whole site to flow better. I wouldn't want to be hired by anyone. Too much responisibilty which i dont want.
