Looks good, although you don't need such a powerful graphics card unless you game or want to do lots of video editing.

In all fairness, it's not costing me a pennie, it's a gift, lol

some graphics cards are used by photoshop nowadays but that is a beast
glad you mentioned the 1tb drive with the SSD
although a 240gb SSD from verbatim is now speedy and £122 notes
on my shopping list in feb
I have 2 striped 64Gb drives and it's lovely.

I should have it in a week or so. Can't wait. Coming loaded with latest Ps and Lr too! Excited.....

As long as you have a good PSU, processor, ssd, and large amount of RAM you will have a good machine for editing. You have all of that.

I'd be tempted to get more storage that that though, 1tb won't last you long.

I'm tempted to get an external too. So can be safely stored in case of it crashing

But only for things you tend not to use on photographs (or very rarely). It will change as more gets moved there, but then newer, faster graphics cards will be out by then......

Always, ALWAYS have a backup.....

I'll pop the specs from my 'Christmas Present' on to compare.
It's a delight to use - just did a bit of video processing in a fraction of the time the laptop could manage.

Above all else the monitor is much more of an improvement than I expected.
