Yep DigitalRev are awesome, I got my 40D + grip from them. Excellent service.

All the extras that they throw in for free are pretty good aswel. Except the bag which is totaly useless, way too small.

I just bought a Canon off-shoe flash cord from them aswel, should arrive this week hopefully.

Two weeks Huh? how could anyone survive the torture? :D
I am sure it will be worth the wait, in the end its a good camera :thumbs:

Im always unsure ordering from HK as i always think either i'll not get me stuff or get hit with import tax.

Some advertise they will refund the tax if you get hit
I got "hit" once buying stuff from the States. It cost me a few quid but I still came out in front by a fair few quid too
( it was quite a while ago and I can't remember the figures)
Its not only the tax, the courier will want extra too as they pay the tax so it will clear customs. I think they charged me about £15 on top, cheeky SOB's it would have been cheaper to collect it myself had I known

I know exactly how you feel, but DigitalRev have thousands of positive feedback comments that mention fast delivery and reimbursement of import duties.

I was hesitant at first too, but if it's a reputable seller I can no longer think of any reason not to buy from HK.;)

Edit: btw I got a £40 import tax charge thingy and even without reimbursement it worked out a couple of hundred cheaper than from the UK :)
 
Everything I've ever bought from the US has ALWAYS been subject to import duty and currier fee's....every single thing, probably 20 items.
Never bought from HK, but I'd give it a go, cant be any worse.
 
Yeah my 40D cost almost £45 to import, but DigitalRev refunded it within 24 hours which was pretty cool.
