My mistress ...

That you very much, Nattelie :)

They are without doubt the most beautiful cars in the world, I am very pleased for you and that I think is the essence of an Aston, I dont anyone who is jealous of someone else owning one.
Enjoy!

Matt

:bang: :bang: :bang:

Facelift  ... today I got news that the DB9 may get a facelift for the 2013 model, not too sure if that includes my wife too :p

I almost stopped scrolling when I saw the pod from the B&O tweeter on the dash, stunning car and a great result for you, hope you get to enjoy it.

How much do you have to pay the police over there to close a road for you so you can have some fun with the loud pedal? its one car I always love to hear and drop the window when passing one or one passes me.

Thank you.

I have to agree with you, I, too, think they are the most beautiful cars in the world; hence why I went for this instead of anything else.

On that note, Wednesday evening I agreed to meet-up with an old friend, he drives a Bentley GT. When he saw the Aston, he asked to drive it and fell head-over-heals for it (like a child's first crush). Thursday morning he and I went to the dealers and, after test driving the Virage & Rapide, he traded his Bentley for a Vantage S

These are the best they come.

I purposely arranged the photos and my initial text to be somewhat misleading :p

As for empty roads, you'll see from the photos, these pictures were taken on a stretch of a motorway. Mind you, this stretch was still under construction when I made my way onto it (car did all the convincing to get me on that track). It was also a good space (stretching a good 15 miles) of flat asphalt, which meant I could push it a bit.

That said, there are plenty of roads leading to nowhere here, once I get my health back on track I intend to drive around a bit getting much better shots with a some more exciting backgrounds.

Happy for you Wail, not very often that David beats Goliath.

Thank you. I've never been able to find a way to define this whole episode, more so as the owners and I were friends once :(; worst bit is that I still don't know how to "unwind" and settle back into normality.

You have been fighting it for years Wail, it's like gulf war syndrome, troops get home but cannot re-adjust to normal life.
You might need some professional help as daft as it sounds.

Anyone qualified on-site to give a bit of advice.

You're probably right, so if you see me walking down the street and talking to myself don't be surprised.

Meanwhile, I'll do my best to get back into a normal life and enjoy my new found love  :)

Oh!,I talk to myself all the time Wail,it's when you start to argue and lose,
that's when you worry.
