My mirror just fell off!

My 5D has just ejected it's mirror, what to do now? :'(
 
If it hasn't had its mirror fix done (I assume this is why it fell off) then I have heard that you can send it to Canon for free to get it done...
 
It hasn't had it done, any suggestions on the best place to send it please?

As above, drop them an e-mail tonight and follow it up with a phone call tomorrow.

When I bought my 5D second hand I enquired as to whether the mod was just for cameras which had had the mirror fall off, or whether it could be done before it happened.

Colchester Cameras were the only ones who would do the mod first as a preventative measure, all the others said that the mirror would have to fall off before they fix it.

I still haven't had mine done, but apparently it only falls off in hot weather.
Can you confirm?
 
Nope, it fell off indoors at home when my brother was testing his new flash, I was going to use it for the first time in ages yesterday too :(

No he was next to me so I know he didn't sabotage me :)
