She's just learning to drive and she's been looking on ebay at cars. She's wanted a yellow Fiat Seicento as she thinks they're cute, but she saw a red one the other day and liked that too.

Anyway she's on ebay browsing through the cars, and spots a red Seicento very cheap. As she hasn't got any feedback on ebay I offer to bid on her behalf on my ebay. She then wins the bid just at the reserve price.

She's very happy and I'm very happy for her as it is a very good buy. But, neither of us are very mobile at the moment as I am getting a car tonight, but there is a problem with the radiator and it needs flushing (?) so I would have thought she was looking quite near to home for them.

Turns out it's in Wigan, she didn't look where it was before bidding.

Bless her.

Thing is, she hasnt passed her test yet, so we need to take someone who's been driving for more than 5 years (?) with us so they can drive back with her.

Who's the idiot? She didn't do the bidding. Get walking to Wigan. You should be there by the weekend. :lol:
 
FAIL, drive her to the station ;)

just noticed she's learning, still fail you might be getting the train then :D

you get stuff to put in the coolant to flush the rad, last time I did it you put muck in coolant ran engine for 10mins then drained it and replaced - ask for some at a halfords or somat, do check the pack though in case its a diff sort ;)
 
also last time I even thought the words 'my girlfriend is an idiot' I got real single real fast - don't leave TP running on ** computer D:

I'll keep it on my drive until such time as you can collect it.

I dont charge much for storage :)
 
A car from Wigan!! blimey, your living on the edge!

Make sure it doesn't have pie tins for wheels.

Is it the sporting seicento, or the standard 850cc one. Rev the nuts of them and they go well. But be warned, if you have size 12 feet like me, you can hit all three pedals at the same time.
 
My son has a low loader car transporter truck its, 162 miles 3hr 20mins to you from us I'll ask him how much he can do it for

or join the AA and get them to fetch it for you, my son did it once it cost £40 odd quid and they charged him £80 to bring it back from scotland a year ago when he didnt have the transporter

If you're really stuck for help with driving i can drive it or be in the car with your girlfriend while she drives as i'm only a few miles down the road from you.

The offer is there is you need it.
