My Flickr Pro has gone ?

I had an email from Flickr a few weeks ago saying they had been unable to take the annual payment for my pro account.

Quick check revealed the card registered for the auto renewal was still my old card as I'd got a new new one not long before.

Anyway - I went in and changed the card details assuming they would just try again.

Now I went into Flickr today for the first time in a while to discover my pro account has gone and I now have a "Flickr account where you get a free terabyte of space for original photos and HD videos"

I decided to keep my pro account a year or so ago rather than change and my understanding was I could remain a pro account holder by renewing each year.

Now I suspect there is no way of getting my pro account back ???

This is why I use paypal for a lot of recurring subs as it means I don't have to remember to update card details in a gazillion different places.

You'd have to contact them but I have a feeling other people discovered that any kind of mix up with renewal could lead to the permanent loss of the pro account. Especially if you don't notice until after the pro account has already expired.

Sent details of my problem off and I just get a message saying they will be in touch by email to an email address i no longer have.

Checked and my primary email is correct so god knows why they want to respond to an old deleted one.

Flickr is just one PITA
