I painted this ten day ago in Norwich down the river side wanted to no what people think i have boosted the colour up for winter.......

I think I'd have liked this better if the subject was on a third (ever heard of the rule of thirds?). The highlights on the skin are blown and you need to practice your HDR/tomemapping a bit more. You might also want to re-visit your brush holding technique, it looks a bit blurry.

Finally, there is not enough contrast.

Apart from that not a bad effort although next time I'd try some off easel lighting.
