Spence I'm paying £340 for the L, but I bought a Nifty Fifty as well so I don't know if he knocked extra off for a multi buy :shrug:

I'd be a little suspicious if my wife bought me something to get me out of the house even more. The 70-200L will be perfect to setup a stake-out of your front door from the bushes down the road....:suspect:

Hope you enjoy your new purchase (I'd have stupmed up a bit more for the IS model though)! :)

I paid £330 for the lens and I will get £70 cashback from Canon.

If you email him he normally beats his ebay price.

As for stumping up the extra for the is version, I don't think I need it, tripod + PS + less drinking = steadier shots.

I will post a packaging, how it arrived and first photo from it sort of blog.

I need a bib.
