Yes
I got my film developed today, after waiting a while. I got them deved and scanned for 2.99 each. I went to pick them up today and one was blank, as I soon found out. So pretty gutting. I dont know why, either. Just....

Anyway, here is some picks from the first deved roll. I only managed to nail focus on a couple. I def know what I need to do better next time. I need to stop and think and not press the shutter unless absolutely happy. But I prefere the outcome to digital.

Anyway, thoughts, comments, honest opinions....they all matter and regardless, I'm wanting more and more to abandon digital...

This is one of my father, which ... well, I dunno. It's the best picture I have of him anyway, lol.

Thank you for the advice. cant wait till my next shoot! And yes, to say the least, he's a very interesting character, if not a bit of a sad story :)

Join the club! I had a blank roll when I first started! I managed to find out the reason which I didn't load the film properly! Idiot and silly me!

It was gutted but it is one of the joys that made u laugh when u think back.I love photography, both digital and film. However, the film makes me think more before taking a shot.also I quite enjoy waiting the result to come out, especially I do my own dev.

Take more films and you will soon be addicted to it:)

Nice shots! I love the colours in "Don't point it in my face", and the blurry background in "Out of focus". The oddness of each shot is why I prefer film over digital - it's too easy to get the perfect, in-focus shot with digital. :)

Glad you like using film, as for me I could buy a £1500 DSLR tomorrow but think what would I use it for and am happy with a faulty Canon Ixus (given to me) that good enough for quick shots for forums or ebay.
With film cameras being so cheap there are no worries about theft, dropping it, or sandy beaches with the chance of sand or sea spray that might get into the camera works...so it's a film camera (all sixteen in my collection) for me while film is around.

Some great shots there, film for me is far more rewarding and engaging. The blank role has happened to many of us, just keep shooting!.

I'm just about to get a film camera later today for the first time since about 1996 - looking forward to trying it out again after getting Kodak 200asa film from poundland yesterday.. Great first shots - and always check you load the film correctly :)

Just want to say thanks to all who took the time to reply. I will be sure to check I've loaded properly for next time. infact im getting another roll deved tomorrow...fingers crossed! As to what camera im using, i've got an fm10, fm, fm2, pentax me super and dont get me onto digital...lol

Maybe you should start looking the dev equipments now, lol!!! It will work out a lot cheaper in long term wise and more fun!

Just as you posted I posted a thread on exactly that :D
