:) I've been doodling since I can hold a pen as a toddler. It's been a life-long passion of mine's.
Even though I'm now 41, there's no sign of me putting down the pen because I've run dry for ideas. For as long as I live and breathe, I will keep churning out cartoons for one reason or another.
And now I thought it is time to do my first cartoon with TP in mind (and probably the one and only! :D :) ) It only took me 10 minutes to put together this one (I let my PC handle the colours, saves me a fortune on coloured pens!).

Must point out that I'm not a professional cartoonist, it's just something I love doing. Although if I had a pound for every cartoon I've done in the past, I'd never need to work full time ever again.
95% of my cartoons and the ideas behind them are my own's. I like to think that I'm part of the traditional "old skool" cartoon genre - which seems to be a dying breed the way things are going.

Awwww what a fantastic response to this thread! I've just had my dinner and thought I'd come back to this thread to see how it's coming along.
Well, it seems that I've made quite an impact with that cartoon, so, I may have to get together some ideas beforehand if I want to make this a regular thing.
What a very heartwarming response I'm getting here. I would love to thank each and every one of you for looking at that cartoon and leaving comments about it. Nice one! Looks like a case of watching this space for any more stuff. :)

A good idea - perhaps a weekly image thats badly composed, not level, flat toned and funny :shrug:

:) :) :) And still the lovely comments are coming in thick and fast. :) I'll get to work on knocking a few ideas about in my head. It'll probably be an end of the week/weekend thing, when I'm not hard at work.
Of course, my cartoons will be unbiased, there'll be no Nikon/Canon/Sony/Pentax/Kodak/Samsung/Fuji (and any other makes of camera I may have missed out) rivalry, it'll be all wholesome family stuff. :baby:
