Ok, before people judge from the title this isn't me moaning on or anything
Basically. I'm doing a BTEC National Certificate in IT at college at the moment, but, as much of a geek as I am and as much as I love computers, I can't see myself enjoying a career in IT. So I think my plan is to ditch the BTEC in IT after I (hopefully) pass this year and go on to another college (Cleveland College of Art & Design) to do a BTEC in Photography which I would have been doing already if New College Durham, my current college, did that! Instead I got told by them to do graphic design and impliment photography into that as much as possible, which I didn't want to do.
Anyway, for me to do this course I personally feel I need to develop in skill and understanding a lot. Especially since I have to make up a portfolio to show the college if I want to get on this course, I already have some ideas but I need to build on them before I do them. Landscapes are cool, but I would much rather prefer to shoot photos related to fashion or general portrait photography.
Main question, after all this rambling, is can anyone show me useful resources, guides etc.? I do pretty much understand the basics of my camera but I need to know more :/
Thanks.
