My Close Call

I was Marshalling at Oulton Park yesterday when in the last Legends race this one decided to try and jump the barrier and kill me and some colleagues, Seriously it was a very close call and i am still shaken up today, I only saw it at the last minute and had to dive on the floor I was stood next to the bent post, also there were 2 guys stood in the flag box it came to rest on. and was told that the wheel that came off it bounced close to me while i was on the floor i ended up with a small cut on both legs.

The people in the flag box look like they would of been fine! You, not so, nice escape, buy a telephoto lens for next time

just shows that the safety improvements at circuits have worked, if that box hadnt been there.........! (cant remember if there used to be one of the open sided concrete marshall posts there or not)
