I don't post much on here now, but i thought people might be able to feel my pain a bit!

I was doing a wedding when I realized my 70-200 was at home, so as I was travelling back to collect it, my car's drivers side ball joint? I think, gave way, leaving me travelling towards a lampost at 40mph. fortuantly i managed to dodge the lampost but the problem is still that my car is unmoveable, its sunday so i cant get it repaired, and ive got work tomorrow/next week.

I'm a firm believer of the 6P's ;) if you'd have followed them you wouldn't of had to go back for the lens :)

I also advocate preventitive maintenance on road going vehicles, ball joints never fail for no reason and such failures are almost always preceeded by symptoms. Without getting on a horse and preaching to you, I'd like to sympathise with you and give thanks that the car didn't go out of control and collide with another road user or pedestrian.
