..the camera that is! What was your brain thinking?!

Hi everyone. Yes I'm a newbie to photography and TP. I bought/was bought a Canon 550d with the kit 18-55 lens for my birthday (at the end of the month!). Took it to Colchester zoo today to practice. Had read the tips for shooting through glass which helped a lot, thanks for that. I think I'm averaging one good picture for every 100 I shoot. Suffered a lot today with the kit lens and am very soon looking to get the canon 55-250 IS which sounds like a very resonably priced lens and has some great shots (by better photography than my standard!) on TP.

Anyway, I'm sure my mum will spot this soon and then I will get tarred with the same brush as her! (Love you Mum!)

You will love the 55-250 IS, it really is a great lens for the money!
