My Big Dilemma

Hi everyone
I need to upgrade my Sony a100 (it's time) and my choice is between the new sony a500 and the old a700, what do you guys thinks, need your help, please.

i think everyone would say the a700, there both in different leagues. a500 is classed as entry level and has more gimmicks then you could think of, also people who handle it still complain about the grip.

the a700 has a more solid built body and it also has extra buttons such as two control dials for easier manual shooting.
