This is the most pathetic attack on social media I've ever read.

I'll get the ball rolling...

Social media is for sad socially inept peeps with no real life friends, the reasons for which are not difficult to imagine.

I don't get it. Why would you attack social media? If you don't like it, don't use it?
 
We shall fight them on the ping backs
We shall fight them on the RSS feeds
We shall fight them by ticking the no comments box
We shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this forum or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our members beyond its database and html, armed and guarded by a firewall of their own, would carry on the struggle, until, with Cisco's good help, the New net socialists, with all their power of fingers and thumbs, will type forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old guard.

I hope so anyway, because what ever happens, if we are dying in our beds, many years from now, would you be willing to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our add new post page, but they'll never take... OUR USERNAME!?!

That should rile the troops for you Ollie.
