Well here goes nothing......

I thought I could stretch to 2 pics a week so here are this week's entries. Hopefully by this time next year my photography in general will have improved 10 fold. Any tips, help, advice or abuse always appreciated!!

Good luck :) Nice start! Liking the first picture, great contrast with the B+W.

Can't quite take in the second one properly as the picture's too big for this screen to view all in one. You might get told to shrink the pictures to 800px :rules: I look forward to seeing more :)

Agree 100% with the above :D Two interesting and very different images!

The Cow pips it for me of these two !:thumbs:
 
Good luck. The first one is excellent, good detail and punchy image, I like it. Not sure about the second one, it's an interesting shot though.
 
1st go using LR2 on the free trail before my new imac arrives next week!!

I Like the first daff, but the WB looks a little off compared to the shot below. Great effect with the wire as well :thumbs:
 
White and yellow daffs, my favourite :thumbs:
Agree regarding the white balance though, not so bad if either was shown on it's own but spoils it a tad when they're shown next to each other :)
