my 1290s only prints 1/2 a image

Does it show the full image in the print preview? Is the 1290s a laser or inkjet?

i get full image preview , i have checked the print size , and printed on 2 computers and get the same result. its an inkjet

Hmmm. The last time I had that issue it was because the printer didn't have enough memory to do the whole page. Was a laser though. Seems odd for an inkjet to do the same.

Can you print line drawings across the whole page and normal text at full page? Is it just that image or all that are similar?

I'd probably google the symptom and exact printer model next and consider updating / reinstalling printer drivers potentially.

a word document did the same. i will look at the internet . and also reinstall the drivers

it may be the backup computer im using for a print server thats not up to it.
