Day 81 - Life Guide

They say we live life by TV and that maybe true  I mean it would be great if life was as easy to understand with simple buttons to press for the direction life should take with buttons to guide you thought :D and easy exit or being able to go back would always be nice :naughty:

Matt a simple life is controlled by the Remote .........Great composition and monochrome

It wish it was  catching up a little I got somewhat distracted over the last couple of days

Great shots Matt but love 77 and especially 79 - great capture :)

Love the vividity of this one - but get your finger out please Matt ;)

Day 83 - Pheasant Chap

It's nice to get something a little different in the garden, but this guy was a real tease it took me well over 3 hours to actually get a photo of him :( as any time I moved he would flap his wings and fly away :bang:

I like the Pheasant, I wish his tail feathers were in the shot though!

Thanks Jake, that was not possible yesterday because of where he was stood ;)

Some good shots Mat,, like the life guide, that would be a good idea.
Like the pheasant as well, not managed to capture one yet.

I'm very lucky to get a broad range of birds into my garden  glad you like the life controller

Awww, shame you chopped his tail :(

It really was a shame but unavoidable I must say :bang: but have done better today :D

Stunning Matt. I must admit, I've only seen one in real life... and it was bouncing off the car window :shake: I didn't realise how beautiful they are!

Like the pheasants! Great opportunity to capture one!
Maybe in the first one the head is a bit soft?
And the second has the daffs as a bit of a distraction?
But well done if it's an occasional visitor! I'm sure it will reappear in your thread and I fancy you'll want to capture it with a nice blurred bg so it really stands out!

That's great Matt! :D I love it! :D
I'm sure he'll keep on coming back, unless he decides to cross a busy road at rush hour, like they usually do!

He does seem to like it here, though it's more likely that he likes the lack of fast moving pellets and free food :suspect:

Ah much better  They really are very handsome :)

Thanks Sarah, glad that you like it

Awesome photography Matt

Cheers Vince I'm glad that you like it

Well he has been round for the last 3-4 days now so I do think that he has decided to remain local for at least the short terms  glad that you like it

With the gears/cogs of life... did you do much post proc on it? or is it straight out of the camera (ish) ? Just wondering on the focus and blur. Exif says 105mm?

Nice pheasant pics!

All that's happened to it is a crop and B&W conversion  focus and DoF just SOOC  it was shot with 105mm Sigma Macro

Glad you like the Pheasants he's been back again just now  but it's going to be a cock black bird for my POTD today I think

Day 85 - Big Black Boy :D
