Everything has been said about the ant shot. Superb image.
Well spotted on the coins. I like that sort of thing. Maybe I would have gone for a different crop - just leaving I'M ME. :thumbs:
 
Still can't believe you're still going! Love the flower shot (pure) and the ant shot. The ant is really cool in fairness. Excellent detail!

I'll be honest the I'm Me was the thing that I'd spotted it was pointed out the nemo part on flickr :lol: glad you like it :D

Day 800 - Counting the days :)

Only 200 days to go till the magical 1000th :thumbs: it's seems almost achieveable now :thumbs: but to celebrate the 800th we had a very quick it only last 9 minutes light painting session I had hoped to organise a meet for tonight but work just got in the way of organizing a meet :bang:

I decided to use two photo's merged into one as I wanted to drop the colour out of the wire wool to leave the focus on V24 800 :thumbs:

I'll confess this was not the best light painting I've ever done, I wish I could have had longer to get just what I wanted from it but alas life got in the way..

I like that - a little bit of colour in the wire wool would be quite cool too, just desaturated a touch I think :)

I did a version like that Sarah but found even desaturated the wool took to much attention from the main subject the 800 glad you like it though

Thanks Vince, I'm pleased you like them :thumbs: I was going to set up a meet for light painting last night but in the end it was a good job I didn't as in the end I litterally only had 9 minutes to set up, frame, test and then shoot the shot/s need :( It's not often we start a disco at 7pm on a Saturday and don't finish till 3pm Monday but thats what happened, since there was a massive power failure then communication failure with the club management saying we can collect gear then that we cannot resulting in lost of wasted time and miles..we will have a light painting meet very soon though :D

Day 71 - Take a Shot a Day

Doesn't sound like much of a challenge when you say it like that, but that said anyone one that's ever done a POTD challenge will attest it can be hard work :( and this is my 802nd :eek:
