Day 28 - The Money Shot

I couldn't resist a money shot for today, since the weather has been awful and the time short :( it's also so long since I had the flash on it was fun to have a little bit of a play, what I have learnt from this photo is that the granite of my kitchen has tiny reflective bits in it lol hence why it looks a bit funky

Thanks Sarah, sometimes it's nice to know the technique is good even if you don't particularly like the subject  I. Personally love coins purely as I love to think of the stories and there journey from mint to being in my possession :)

Day 29 - Pocket some Time

This is my pocket watch that I've inherited from my grandmother, and it came from here father, I've don't wind it up very often but it's still in full working order and it very nice to hold  I've decided that a triptych to display some of the details from the watch and workings

That works really well, Matt, kind of like stripping back time itself! Love it! :)

Beautiful Matt. I find pocket watches stunning. My granny has my late grandads large collection and she made me pick out the one I'd like to have when she passes  bless.

Thanks Toni, I'm pleased that you like it  I hope that you don't get yours for a long time though ;)

Thats nice Matt, and an interesting subject too.

Really like that. I think a triptych is very effective in showing more than one aspect of something, or different angles. Works well with this.

Thanks Lynn, I'll confess to being quite pleased with it myself too

Day 30 - Breezy Blue

So I was thinking that today would make a nice evening for a long exposure up at Burton Dassett, it really wasn't, the wind was blowing a gale, it was blowing so strong that it was moving the car, and the tripod and as a result the camera was wobbling like a jelly :( but for what feels like the first time this year I got to see some wonderfully rich blue sky :D

Very, very nice, Matt - I love clouds and these ones, with the light ( I think that's from something called 'the sun'? Think I may have seen it a long time ago!) on them are fantastic!
